A true craftsman who takes pride in his work, gets on with the job and goes above and beyond. Would recommend him to everyone. You will barely know he is in the house although he is a pleasure to have around. We are delighted with the refurbishment of 3 rooms, hall stairs and landing. Could not wish for a better result. Rob has done our gloss on all three levels of our house, our living room, my daughters bedroom and soon my son's bedroom. Rob is great at helping you chose the right paint type for the room and it's use. Rob is loved by the dogs as well!The rooms are always left clean and tidy and he is a pleasure to have around. Rob recently decorated my 13 year old son's bedroom as well as my lounge, stairs and landing. My son is thrilled with his room, especially after Rob painted a large West Ham badge as a feature! He did a fantastic job too on the windows especially as they've seen better days and need replacing but Rob filled the holes and they look as good as new!
The bedroom had a fresh coat of powder blue paint on the walls and white on the ceiling, along with gloss work...hopefully Rob will put a photo of his hard work up on the gallery.
And I too am thrilled with my lounge. This was done whilst I was away on holiday. Rob is totally trust worthy. He has done a fantastic job, my lounge has been completely transformed from its old dowdy self to a clean modern look. One wall was wallpapered, his skill at matching the pattern is second to none! The ceilings were painted white and the walls in lace grey. In addition to the general decorating he also painted some MDF under stairs shelving and a corner unit....I know this took a lot of time and patience (something I don't have!) but the results are beautiful. Crisp white that finishes my grey colour scheme off perfectly. The final finish was a pine fireplace that also has been finished in white.

Mr R Mahoney has just completed re-decoration work to my lounge and dining room and I am very happy with the end result. I noticed his advert in the local paper so I called him to do us a quotation.

His price was very competitive and we chose him because of the manner he dealt with us on meeting him, we felt safe and trusted him.

He was on time the day he said he would come, and he carried out the work methodically, safely and thoroughly.

We were very impressed with the way he left both rooms after the few days when he had finished and how tidy he was.

We initially engaged the services of Mr Robert Mahoney of 'RPM Painting and Decorating Services' to repaint the outside of Maverick in March 2012.

He did such a professional job that we re-engaged him again to redecorate the inside of the Salon in June 2012. This work involved painting and hanging wallpaper horizontally.

Mr Mahoney co-operated with our requirements to do the work over two Sundays and Mondays to get work done when the salon was closed and to work around the existing salon equipment in the shop. Again he provided a very professional service and was very co-operative in meeting our needs.

When he was finished, all the salon equipment was returned to its original position and the shop was left clean and tidy. I would certainly re-engage his services again and have no hesitation in recommending 'RPM Painting and Decorating Services' for any painting and decorating work.

My wife and I asked Robert Mahoney to undertake some emergency repairs and redecoration when we left the UK and needed to prepare our home for rental.

Not only was the work completed to a very high standard and to budget, but Robert proved to be reliable and trustworthy, and he took responsibility for liasing with our builders to co-ordinate the redecoration with other repairs in the house. This saved us a lot of time and hassle during a very stressful time of our lives.

Firstly I would just like to say a really big thankyou for all the work that you did on the shop. All of us are so happy with the result and the feedback we are getting from customers is brilliant. I just can't believe that we didn't do it sooner.

After our initial meeting, I was already impressed with the standard of work that you showed me. This was met by a quick response and a fantastic quote; we are only a small business and you took on board that we didn't have a lot of money to spend - for that I am extremely grateful. Both you and Martin also provided us with a brilliant service and were friendly to both the staff and customers, which meant everyone felt comfortable in the shop. We were all initially worried about keeping rooms closed but you worked quickly and efficiently so it wasn't a problem. The fact that you also made sure we had all our rooms up and running every Saturday was something that I do appreciate. I also want to say thankyou for going the extra mile to help us put up paintings and mirrors; you didn't have to do that but it was a big help.

I would happily recommend you to anyone who is looking for a painter. You both made the process so easy and worked around us and what we needed to do with the shop. This was so important for us as we wanted to keep running like normal and you made this possible without making a fuss.

We are all very happy with the finished result and how the process went.
